Do you think I should get a new camera? I'm undecided because I know that nobody needs my tutorials since there are tons of better ones out there already. Since not a lot of people watch mine I don't know if I should buy one or not. I enjoy making them, and I hope that they benefit someone out there so that's why I've been thinking about it... plus my videos are pretty poor in quality(sometimes you can barely hear, not the clearest picture).
I hope that didn't sound whiny. I didn't know how else to word it, but it sounds like a "boohoo nobody watches me" type thing. I swear that's not it. I very much appreciate the viewers and subscribers I have, and I'm grateful that people watch my videos at all considering the amount of great tutorials already out there. It's just something I can't make up my mind about.
I'm also unsure because it's decent when it comes to photos so it's not a complete piece of crap. The flash is too bright, but I can always take pics without flash when it's bright enough outside.

It's been a week since I've dyed my hair, and it's actually grown on me. It's faded so that there are highlights in it from my previous color, so it's not as blah as I originally felt it was. I know you can't tell from my photos since they're on the side of my head so I had to mention it.
I did another tutorial for this bright tropical type look here. Do you have to use blues and greens for it to be tropical? I thought that this still qualified but I'm not sure :D.
no, this camera takes great photos. maybe you just need to fix the settings a bit. I love the pics and videos but don't waste money on it!! I love it how it is now. in fact, yesterday, i followed your tutorial while watching it! hehe

i don't think your cam have problem..
i just think that the volume is quite low, but other than that your vids are great!
if you're worried about the quality, you can change your lighting first. Light can really play a major role when you use the cam. the brighter it is, the better. If you're using a yellow-ish light,it makes it different.

This looks is gorgeous! You didn't sound whiny...a lot of people watch your videos to learn and the clearer and louder it is..the better. If you have the extra money, then go for it! You could always sell your old camera or give it to someone..!

ReplyDeletewell, you just started youtube, you'll get more subscribers soon! and about the cam thing....... you can get a new one if you want and have the money for it, otherwise... just use what you have! Maybe you want to upgrade when you're a "youtube partner." I think they get paid doing youtube videos but yeah... just saying. to me, it's fine as is and I still watch them and they've helped me =]

I think it qualifies as tropical still :D I think you just need to find good lighting in the house because it looks like you're lamp lit :) ahha, I found GREAT lighting at my boyfriends house so that really helped with my video! But I don't make videos anymore :P I just don't have the "passion" for it haha

i love your tutorials! They are the only ones that I can follow, especially because you're so close to the camera it's easy to see your brush strokes.

ReplyDeleteJust to let ya know I have seen videos out there that are really great from GURUS on YT. However, when I asked you to do the Kim. K tutorial, it was the first time that I was happy with my outcome. I felt that your video and explanations really helped. Plus ur vids are laid back which I love (unlike some vids of only MAC products etc) You didn't speak in the video but I am sure if you did it would of been great also. I say keep doing vids - and about ur cam I like it I think it's pretty good, maybe juice this one up first and when it dies (as most electronics do) then get a new one! its up to u tho :)
