About My Hair Color...

I thought I'd do a post about my hair color since I get a lot of questions about it. Here's my current color-it's the same thing I've had the past couple months. It's pretty much just a warm brown. It's reddish when there's decent lighting, and plain golden brown in crappy light.

Just my hair since I'm too lazy to put makeup on. I turned on another light in the photo on the right so it looks a touch redder than the left photo.

No flash...i flipped my hair over my face because it was quicker than getting another pic of the back of my head. Sexy huh...


It's a box of light golden brown and a box of light reddish brown. I mix them together in a large bottle and apply it like any other dye.

That's all there is to that. It's pretty low maintenance since it's not a really light or bright color. I might stick to this shade for a while. I just touch up my roots and leave the rest of my hair alone since it's had more than enough chemical processing.

I had to bleach first to get this lighter color I had last summer.


My hair was dyed with permanent black dye so I had no choice. Just dyeing it with regular dye would have done nothing. I used Revlon Frost and Glow in Honey to lighten a few sections at a time...I didn't feel comfortable bleaching the whole thing at once. I highlighted some large sections, then did some more a few days later. That lightened most of my hair to a nasty orange. Then I dyed my hair with a medium ash blonde...that killed most of the icky orangeness.

I think that's it. If any of that doesn't make any sense, feel free to ask whatever.

I'll leave ya with an outfit post from last weekend. I cropped my friend out since I haven't talked to her in the past couple days and I don't wanna put someone's pic over the internet without permission(even though it's from her facebook :P). I switched shoes a few times that night so I only had those on for a while. I eventually changed into another dress, but no one was taking pictures at that point. I had a bit too much to drink, so it was fun.

Just a quick outfit post even though it's pretty boring(I took pics because I really like these shoes, but they don't even look that nice here). I bought them yesterday along with a pair of brown boots so my collection slightly increased. I woke up late so I only applied bronzer, lipstick, and a quick coat of mascara(my lash glue was hiding from me). I need to stop taking outfit pics in the grass since my heels always sink in.



After seeing these I've come to the conclusion that the jeans are incredibly unflattering. Lots of people say skinnies are unflattering/make you look fat, but I've seen pics of me wearing different ones and they looked fine so it's just this particular pair.

So I Dyed My Hair

...and I hate it. It didn't turn green, orange, or disastrous but it's so freakin drab/boring looking. I wanted a auburn/reddish brown. I remembered that every time I've used a reddish hair dye the red came out way too intense and took like two weeks to fade to the color I wanted, but I still picked up a dye that looked pretty noticeably red because I wanted something fun and new. Now I have drab shit brown hair with red that only shows up in certain lighting. My mom and boyfriend told me not to dye it, but I'm obviously a dumbass. My mom actually ended up saying she likes it a lot and I should stick to this for a while. I have a feeling when my bf sees it, "What the fuck did you do to your hair" will be the first thing out of his mouth.

So I went from this color that I liked but was starting to get bored of...

The red shows up in the sunlight...but I don't spend my days sitting in the sun to show off my hair color's full potential. My heels completely sunk into the grass which is why the pants look too long

I have a little haul from yesterday that I'll post either later or tomorrow. I haven't taken pics yet. I finally found a pair of black pants in a size 3 long. I can easily find jeans in long lengths(but I wear skinnies 99% of the time so I can wear regular length ones), but everytime I find black pants they only come in one length. Since my shoes are rarely under 4 inches my pants need to be pretty long.

I needed to post just so I could complain. I know it's not drastic but I still don't like it :(. Can you recommend any red/auburn hair glaze type thing that'll boost the red? I don't want to be too rough on my hair by redying it especially since I want to grow it out.

The outfit's nothing exciting(didn't do much today so I didn't dress up), but I really like these shoes so I'm posting. He wanted in on the pics since it's one of those rare occasions he's wearing a shirt. I made another tutorial here...not the greatest because I'm not feeling so well. I thought it was just allergies since they were acting up horribly yesterday, but I'm coming down with a fever too. I need to touch up my hair color this week...after a month or so it starts turning this weird color.

Outfit and More

I've had this dress for a couple years and haven't used it because it's too big. I added the belt to keep it from falling and to try and squish the fabric together, and while I don't hate it I see that it bulked me up in the middle...oh well I can eat a huge meal in this and nobody will notice if my belly expands ;). I literally scrunched my hair and called it done this morning since it was still semi curly when I woke up...and I'm lazy.
One side falling here so it looks like I have a deflating tit.

I didn't think so after looking in the mirror, but after seeing these pics it hit me that I've spent the day looking like a hooker. I didn't think it was so bad since the dress isn't really tight and my boots are flat, but oh well.

Off topic but I was at my best friends house with my brother and a few others last night. We had nothing to do so my brother started calling people pretending to be from the "Luscious Panda Escort Service" that they came up with out of the blue. It was amusing.

Cavewoman hair for me today(if they had curling irons)...big and messy :D. I actually like my eye makeup today since I didn't half ass it like I have been.

I've had the CS 88 palette for a few months now, and I'm getting bored of it. At first I wasn't really interested in buying other eyeshadows because I had plenty of color options in it, but it's lost it's appeal.

I told my brother to stand up when he takes pics because it seems like they're unflattering if he points the camera up while he sits down but he didn't listen.

People were dressed pretty casually so I ended up looking extremely overdressed. I'd much rather be overdressed than underdressed though so I didn't mind. I overslept and didn't have much time to fix myself up so no fancy makeup :(.

I don't have massive hips, it's the ruffles/tiers of my skirt adding bulk :P. It's lace, and I should have got a better pic because I really like it.
