Video-Curling My Hair

Why do my thumbnails always have to be so awkward...next time I should just keep staring at the camera and smiling.

9 or 10 sections would make it look better, but I did 7 to keep the video short as possible. I don't do anything special really...having layers helps. I'm still planning on growing them out because I want one length hair.

Photo tutorial

I never do these so I thought I'd make one today. I used the 88 matte palette(white, black, grayish blue). The photo quality is awful since I zoomed in on all of them...that's why I added the dotted lines.

1.) White from lashline to brow
2.)Blue on outer lid and in the crease. Blend inward to soften the edges
3.) Make a sideways v- I used black e/s
4.) Blend inward, but not too far so you don't completely cover the blue.
5.) Add shadow to bottom lashline if you want. Then add liner.
...apply mascara and falsies and you're done.

Purple look and coffee question

There aren't any coffee shops in my town so I have to make my own. If any of you drink homemade coffee, could you recommend something yummy for me? I ran out of the Starbucks stuff my local store had at one time...they don't have it anymore :(. All I have at home right now is this Folgers medium roast stuff and I don't care for it.

I'm thinking about trying bottom falsies, but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to actually wear them out. Maybe I could get a pair or two for contests and that kind of thing though. I like the look of this pair. That site is really cheap too. The cheapest lashes I can get around here are the ones Walmart sells for a little over $3...I've never seen Red Cherries here unfortunately.

Reddish Neutral?

I wasn't sure what to call it...it's not quite red, but not burgundy. Wine maybe? I know it just looks neutral in the photos, but the red shows up more in person. This is my 5th day in a row without a curling iron or flat iron...I think that's a long enough break :D.

Winged Liner

I wanted to see if I could get away with not wearing anything on the lower lashline...I winged my liner and make it a tiny bit thicker than usual to compensate for not wearing any makeup under my eyes.

I braided a section of my hair and pinned it on the other side to make it look headbandish. I only like my hair curled, but I'm forcing myself to heat style less so I braided it again last night...made the braid loose so that it would only be a little wavy.

Teal and Purple

Since I've been using my curling iron the past few days I had to give my hair a little break. I just braided my hair before going to bed. I can't completely go without heat styling though...I get too cold if I let my hair air dry.

I did my makeup while trying to watch a movie so I kept it simple so that I could keep my attention on the tv :D. I was supposed to be hurrying to get out of my house on time, but I took pics anyway...you can see that I'm carrying my purse since I'm just about to leave(but I'm a dedicated blogger :P). I just realized I forgot blush as I started typing this.
